 
Your Sure Start Aylesbury Plus programme has a small staff team based in the Aylesbury Health Centre, Taplow, Thurlow Street. We are responsible for coordinating the whole programme of health, education and social support and activities for young children and their families in the area.
This area of the site will introduce you to everyone in the team and what each of us does.
Our office is open between 9.00am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

| Kate is responsible for the overall co-ordination and leadership of the whole programme. | b) Parent & Community Strategic Development Manager - Clare Smith |
| Clare is responsible for supporting parents and members of the community who wish to become more involved in the management and development of Sure Start and of our new Centre, 1st Place. Clare is also responsible for our Parents' Panel which meets monthly to hear about proposals from local parents about ways to improve the services in the area. | c) Community Interpreting/Health Advocacy Co-ordinator - Elena Salazar |
| Elena is responsible for supporting parents who have English as an additional language to become involved and informed about services in the area. She organises our Community Interpreting and ESOL courses, and links graduates with the Community Interpreting qualification with local services to provide interpreting for service users. | e) Childcare Development Manager - Carla Caldwell-Cook |
| Carla is responsible for co-ordinating creches, and group childminding services to support Sure Start activities for parents. She is based at the Childminding and Childcare Centre in Beaconsfield Road. Carla also co-ordinates the Walworth Early Years Focus Group for all childcare and early education providers in the area. |

| f) Childcare officer - outreach lead - Anne Newman |
| Anne is a peripatetic childcare officer for Sure Start. She has particular responsibility for outreach and promotion of Sure Start to parent users of the creches and other childcare provision. Anne works with Carla and Phyllis to provide creches and support childminders in the area to offer group childcare provision. |

| g) Childcare Officer - Creche lead - Phyllis Hayden |
| Phyllis is a peripatetic childcare officer for Sure Start with particular responsibility for organising and running creches for parents attending training. Phyllis works with Carla and Anne to support childminders working together in the Childminding and Childcare Centre. |
